This was the case when Tik Tok user @dumpsterdivingmama’s video went viral, showing hundreds of freshly baked Crumbl cookies sitting in a dumpster.

@dumpsterdivingmama was shocked that so many cookies were tossed into the garbage, especially since so many of them were still warm.

The viral Tik Tok video was posted on the the site Daily Dot and that is when Crumbl corporate reached out to them to make a statement.

A Crumbl spokesperson responded to the article, highlighting the company’s policy when it comes to donations.



““End-of-day cookie donations have been part of Crumbl’s process from day one. It’s a core part of who we are and what we believe,”

The spokesperson went on to tell Daily Dot that “All leftover cookies that meet Crumbl quality standards should be donated to local organizations at the discretion of the store owner. This is our corporate policy and we continue to work with and train all our partners on this protocol.”

While it’s unfortunate that some cookies have to be wasted, it’s good to know that Crumbl is committed to donating their leftover cookies to local charities.
