How to Freeze Mint? A Step-by-Step Guide
When you are planning on freezing mint leaves, then only things you are going to need are:
- Paper towels
- A freezer Ziploc bag
- Marker
Step 1
The first thing you are going to want to do is wash the mint leaves. After washing, pat them dry and let them sit for about an hour to ensure that they are fully dry.
Step 2
If you are going to freeze mint leaves, you should put the whole leaves on a baking sheet or plate and place them in the freezer.
Step 3
Once frozen, take out the mint leaves and wrap them in a paper towel.
Step 4
Place the paper towel inside a freezer Ziploc bag and label with the date you placed them in. Remember, mint leaves can be stored in the freezer, up to 3 months.
